Am I the first?
Mimi Miyagi
I've had a goal for quite a few months - to unlock every single skill with six different characters (two accounts) via PVE only. Finally completed this today, with a PUG up in mineral springs, capping Glyph of Lesser Energy for my Ele. Sad part was it was mostly with PUGs and henches, which made it even harder. Don't know how many times I had to redo Ring of Fire because PUGs would either not go to cap the skills the back way, or would quit when things got rough.
So has anyone else been able to do this?
Yeah, I'm bragging a bit, sue me.

I achieved UAS using PvE only my account because faction was yet to be introduced. I capped EVERY elite with full hench parties, and I completed it all about 2-3 months after release. You're sadly 6-7 months too late. What makes your UAS seemingly worthless is the fact it's spread out over two accounts.

Bit easy... u can take all skill fast 2 days... in just run, take quest make run take reward next skill quest only fast fast fast... hard is get the extra points to buy capture signets or buy npc only skills 2 weaks if i remenber right for me... maybe 62 extra points per dual class player if i right... anyway congrat, nice work...

Unless they mean that all 6 characters on the 2 accounts have every skill unlocked. Which beats the crap out of everyone else. Imagine that....6 characters all with every skill unlocked...
Mustache Mayhem
pretty cool really =] if you had 2 accounts that's the wtg- access to every class in pve or pvp- imagine the goal of fissure on all 6 lol
fenix
Kago Seirei already has FoW on 6 characters...
Sagius Truthbarron
The person means that they unlocked every skill on ALL of their characters, I think.
IE, they got UAS on 6 characters, if I am reading this correctly.

Sorry, to reiterate...
Two accounts, six characters, each a different profession, all PRIMARY professions for each unlocked via PVE. I guess not nearly as groundbreaking as I thought. Seemed that way to me, it took forever because I spent a lot of time farming SF, UW, twin serpent lakes, etc instead of trying to barrel through skills, and my first character I made I was pretty sloppy with my skill point spending. I unlocked most all of the ele stuff with my ranger while I was playing, and ran out of skill points trying to get the last 13 ranger skills. That really slowed me down for a while until I started doing trapping runs in UW.
And they don't have FOW armor, they all have 15K armor and nice weapons/off hand stuff. Superior Vigors all around, etc.
But kudos to the folks that managed to do this months ago, huge amount of work. Most people I know only have one-two characters period.

Think of all the platinum wasted, each skill after you hit your buying max costs 1 platinum.. You could have 1,000k right now if you didn't buy those skills.

Well, not impressed but good job anyhow. Not to demean your efforts.
What I'd like to see is someone with unlocked all skills of all 6 classes on EACH class. THAT would be impressive. IT would probably total about 50mil exp...
It's Glyph of Energy btw,not lesser energy. Lesser energy = 15 energy; Energy =20 energy - exhaustion.
It is actually harder to unlock skills not part of your primary/secondary because quests do not give you the skills.

I unlocked all the ele/monk/mesmer skills on my ele and then got bored while working on getting the ranger skills. Plus, it was eating up all my gold.
tomcruisejr
unlocked all primary and secondary skills of my pve mes/nec and primary skills of my pve ranger. for my mesmer, took me lots of days (months ) to do it (when skills were not capped at 1k each).
i also fully unlocked my pve monk's and pve necro's primary skills (which i both deleted).
pve <3.

Man I thought you got each character and unlocked all the skills for the whole game on everyone of them. That would be truly impressive!
Actually just 1 character with all the skills is impressive enough, wouldnt that cost like 300k?

It's expensive, but one of my mesmers has all mesmer skills, all monk skills and all necro elites.. now I'm farming money/skill points, then getting the rest of the ele elites. Figure normal skills are easier to get, therefore, getting all elites for him first.. though.. I'm not too sure why I'd want any warrior skills on him... oh well.
btw, well done on your achievement. It takes a long time for that to happen.

lol I'm getting to the stage with one of my characters where I'm going to have to farm xp to keep getting skills. I'm trying to get my 3 char to unlock all skills (each) before factions comes out but in the case of my mes who has much less xp than my ele or monk it might take a little while.

And at one time I had 7 characters, I had a monk on the 2nd account to flesh out any PVP characters I needed to run, as well as simple farming for runes. I eventually deleted the character to make room for PVP play. And on the first account i can do ranger, monk, warrior or ele PVP, on the 2nd account I can do everything but ranger or tank. I haven't run into any situation where I can't roll up an effective PVP player.
But oh well. It provided a goal. With 15K armor done for everyone, all skills unlocked, I'm kind of wondering what I should do next. my only shortcoming is that on my second account I need to unlock quite a few runes, but since the anet solo monk nerfing, I haven't quite figured out how or where to do rune farming. Suggestions?
Lady Lozza
Mimi, I know what you went through it is a headache, especially the RoF elites (those which are in the missions). I'm still missing Spirit of Greater Conflagration from Hell, and I've done the mission at least 10 times.
Mimi Miyagi
Hell's wasn't really hard, all of the elites are along the way. RoF is bad, just about as bad as Frozen Forest, as the areas where the elites are located are not along the way of a mission path. Nine times out of ten, PUGs would refuse to turn right and go the back way, they were too focused on finishing the mission.
And forget capping in Mineral Springs. You'd get a cap group together with plenty of monks (all screaming "I need SOJ!") - I guess ANet needs to nerf that skill too - and depending on the luck of the spawn, the monks would quit right after capping, regardless of what everyone else needs. You can only cap if the monks are unlucky and their boss doesn't show up until everyone else is done. It's truly pathetic.

lol problem with Hell is that every single time I've been the ranger boss hasn't spawned at the portals but somewhere else, and NO ONE wants to go exploring. Yeah I agree RoF mission captures are a pain. I had a guild team there with two PUGs about 3 months ago to get shield of deflection. It wasn't out the front of the fort so we went through and headed out the back. One of the pugs said, OMG I don't have time for this and went off to fight the mursaat by herself. She died, spammed res me and then left.
Agreed with mineral again. I've had the same experience

Yeah, the biggest problems I had were frozen forest (until I got comfortable henching it) and RoF, but minieral springs was just as bad simply because everyone is asking for IDS runs, or the group would die, or the monks would quit.
When I did finally cap my last skill in mineral springs, it was almost crimminal. We went to the northern path, the monks (of course) were just whining about SoJ non stop. The second boss we run across is the ele boss with the skill I need (he spawned at the collector just across the little bridge). I'm staring right at the boss, pinging it, saying we need to attack it, and the friggin monks were saying "no, we'll come back to it later". I almost freaked out. I simply sat and insisted we cap it first. Grudgingly the party came back and finished off that boss, so I could cap. I couldn't believe how selfish they were. I've NEVER quit on a skill capping group - or even a mission group that was also skill capping - and after I capped my skill I stayed with the group until everyone was happy. Luck would have it, the monk boss happened to be the last one we went to, so everyone else got their caps as well. A skill cap PUG right before I was in quit after the first boss - the monk boss - and the monks all dropped after capping.
I hate quitters in PUGs. It's the ultimate in selffish behavior but all too prevalent in online play.

I UAS'd on my monk just last week. Glad that I finally got it done (oh god I hate hate hate the Mursaat elites) but now there really isn't too much to do, with my guild as inactive as it is.
