Hi, what i was trying to post before the site timed out on me (sorry about the duplicate)
Is there a way to ascend without taking the mission. as its my sixth time doing this i really dont want to have to go thru them boring missions (my opinion). is there a way using shortcuts/fooling the game?
Thanks

Unfortunately, no. As you know, the divine fire thing used to open the mesa appears after beating all three missions. The npcs' dialog and the "vision crystal" change with each mission completed. Closest thing to cheating would be hiring runners for getting to outposts/doing the missions.

yeah as i thought. kinda annoying in a way, as one of the missions i seem to remember takes about 45 minutes.
Murder In China
The 45 minute long mission either is Thristy river or Dunes of Despair which can be powered through with a runner.

ah ok, well will be looking for mission runners then

You can't run Thirsty River, it's one of those missions where you need to kill! Same goes for Dunes of Despair, a runner won't protect your ghost!

you only need to kill monsters on the left-hand side of that poudium...
that mission goes very fast if you dont kill the guys on the right-hand side and from above who block all the melee guys from the right side...
thirsty river is the annyoing one. supposvily runners can "do it" but thats like a minion master... who kills everything... I'd like to see that in action.

This could also be used for the bonus, with the rest of the team going off to fight the generals while a lone monk hangs out with the hero.
There's really no way to speed up the mission though since you have to wait for the clock anyway.
