A few nights ago my guild and I decided we would try to do the "impossible run" from Beacons perch to Draknors forge. We had a less than ideal group, with one hench healer, one monk, one warrior, two rangers, and one elementalist. Anyway, we actually made it all the way to the drift, and if anyone has actually been in that zone, I think the devs went a bit overboard. Think 20 summit riders, 10 seige golems, etc, all packed together and all of these groups within aggro range of each other. I still don't think the trip is impossible, just very, very, very, time consuming and difficult.
So anyone else ever made it that far yet? There is also a collector down at the very end of lornars pass that has all the max dmg weapons for collecting 5 something or other. He wanted something strange.

How many have made it to Dreadnoughts Drift?

We just went slowly and took them out one at a time. Oh, and we died. A lot. And if you think the worms are bad, wait till you get to the very end, right before the zone. Tons and tons of mobs packed into the final corridor.
Also, the only respawn in the zone is the one at the very beginning, so we were making numerous 60% DP treks all the way to the end of the pass to keep fighting the final corridor.

btw, heres the only picture I got off. This is the entrance of Dreadnoughts. Notice the radar in the upper right. And this was just the spawning point, it got much worse.
Also cool, you can kind of see a cable right below the radar. There was a mine cart hoist thing that kept going back and forth with rocks, looks like the Summit dwarves mine the area.

we went from the other side, spend about 3.5 hours working ourselves up to the
portal went through it died, and guess what our only henchy was stuck inside the map and could not die. so no respawn for us.
3.5 hours down the drain we had cleared the whole way

Yeah my guild has tried that trek numerous times, the devs really want to keep us out of there with all that high level crap

On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give it a 7 in difficulty. Not outragous, but most people will be stuck DP zerging sections of the zones.
Btw, we went from Droknar's Forge to Beacon's Perch, so if there is a difference in the staggering of mobs, then that could be the cause of why I think it's easier.
p.s. we did not use henchmen

And going from Droknargs Forge instead you would get a team of 8 instead of 6 yeas? And if you bring henches they are lvl 20 instead of, what, 10?
