haha... yeah there's also tons of people already claiming it's nerfed... :P

the 10% recharge FFS (fiery flame spitter, not something else ) will NEVER be nerfed as all weapons with a global recharge bonus have it maxed at 10%. to change this one would mean changing all those as well.

it could be "nerfed" in the sense that it could be removed from that collector, thus no longer available for new players.

i suppose with that definition then yes, it could be nerfed.

but there really is no reason to remove an item that is not over-powered/imbalanced in any way.

perhaps the rumours of this item being removed started circulating when the collector wasn't in his spot on occasion. i encountered this myself on my first attempt to locate him (with a map showing directions) but i took my time collecting lodestones along the way. all i found when i got to where he was meant to be were ruins and a couple of those whatever-they're-called monsters hovering a short way off.

the second attempt i pretty much ran all the way there non-stop and there he was. the two monsters were still close by though. i believe those monsters eventually do get in range of the collector and will attack and kill him if you do not find him in time, and that is why he isn't there sometimes.

I was told he's only there when your country has favor... haven't verified

the body decomposes within seconds.

only boss bodies stay around so that you can take your time capping their elite.

Your country doesn't need favor for him to be there.
He's there when he's not out to lunch or taking a shit.
I hope one day the collector will vanish for ever.
