Korean/Chinese language support in GW-North America = working fine
Japanese language support in GW-North America = broken
---
A few months ago, an update broke the ability to input Japanese characters within Guild Wars from my NA account. The Alt-Shift/Ctrl-Caps_Lock combination of keys still activates IME (a small white box with the letter "A" turns into "あ" to the left of the input field), but the following message appears:

(I would take more pictures illustrating the problem, but I just reinstalled Windows a few days ago and I'm too lazy to dig out Photoshop. Use your imagination?)
I've sent bug reports through support.guildwars.com countless times, and every time I simply get the standard automated reply. Nothing more. No followups, nada mas.
Note: You can still input Korean and Chinese characters on a NA (Euro too, I would assume) account. Kanji is fine, Kana is the problem.
It may not be a problem to 99% of the NA/Euro userbase (since Roman characters are used most frequently and most people wouldn't expect for someone with a NA/Euro account to be typing in funny moon-language). But it's a problem to me, mainly because I (used to, before the patch) talk to people that use GW-J accounts who are more comfortable reading/writing in moon-language than English. Sure, I could exit and logon to my GW-J account (where everything is functioning perfectly fine) just to talk to those people in-game like that...but that's an inconvinence.
Also: Chinese and Japanese were removed from the [BETA] status in the language section of the options menu (since GW was released in the many countries where moon-language is spoken/written/whatever). Note, however, that one of the two (hint: it's not Chinese) is missing.
I can't think of a reason why these things are broken; rather, I can't think of a reason why this remains broken. So, the question that I have is: why?
/goes off to dig up Photoshop and to send off another bug report
