Auction 'bug'

I was recently the winner of an auction, but only because another bid was removed. I was happy to have won, but the email notification I received showed the maximum price I had entered (which I only got to due to the removed bid being added) as did the entry in my 'Auctions you won' area. Looking at the bid history and the actual auction, however, it shows the high bid as my bid (which met the seller's reserve) prior to the removed bid being placed - there was a significant difference in the two prices.
