Something I noticed: when trading, the item color shows. (blue/white/gold...) So why didn't Anet implement this for combat? I think it'd be helpful to see what you get when you kill stuff and so you don't lose your green drop just as you kill Tanzit, he drops 4 things, and the HoH message comes up.
So I present:
Notes:
- Money drops are shown. I'd like this to happen; many times I'd walk away, flip my camera, and hit alt, only to find that I left cash on the ground.
- The colors of items are immediately apparent when a monster drops something. This may encourage a lot of "lolz wut u get" but no one says you have to ID during the instance. And it sure beats "...drops a rare Thing, which your party assigns for..." due to the lack of such notification on blues and purples
- Trading shows item colors and money transferred as usual. Now it should also say the number of items transferred, e.g., 12 parchment. I botched up with the parchment; it should be in white.
- Henchman drops aren't shown, I was just kidding with that one.
