15% Damage Always w/ No Negative Side Effect

Ok, it's my understanding that these weapons still exist even though they no longer drop (similar to the HoD sword). Is this true? If so, then why haven't people been posted their little treasures all over the forums. It seems those weapons would be the most prized items in GW. What's the scoop?

They have been posted in High-end before and sold for millions.

Because they're so rare AND useful (unlike vanity-only items), many of them have been customized because people never intend to sell them.

They were from the first days after GW was released, and as stated above there are very few of these items (even 13% and 14% always) that exist. Many have been customized as well, so the "sellable" ones are extremely rare.

They exist, still today. They dropped first (few?) weeks after release, and was a bug with Zealous mods. instead of -2 energy (-1 zeal, -1 damagebonus) they had -1 energydegen. After changing mod, one would have a non-negative weapon with permanent damagebonus.

Ok, that's what I thought. So, has anyone ever seen a perfect weapon with this mod? The highest I've seen is 13% somewhere on this forum.

The original weapons weren't a bug, looking around you'll still see 10% damage bonus weapons drop with no downside to them. What Makkert was saying is that there was another way of creating no penalty items as well.

If you're the perfectionist type, make yourself two axes, one with 15%>50 and another with 20%<50. Bam, you're even better than a guy with 15% always and most probably some negative mod. Often, 15%>50 will do just fine.

-5 energy is nearly as good (also great for casters), as is stance or enchanted or >50% depending on build, the point is that 15% no negative is what you would be using if you could afford it, almost without question. And nobody would want to switch weapons every time they got under 50%...

Ive got a 14% hammer which isnt for sale. I am still contemplating whether to customize it as I have spent a small fortune on my swamp club collection aswell...
Because in most cases the items are one-off and no others exist for that skin of weapon. It is not as if you can replace the item in the future as there are only a handfull in existance.

Most people dont like to show off their collection... I guess its for personal enjoyment. I know I wouldn't show my special items all around the forums. I have a few special peices that I only show my guildies, but no one else. If I ever want to get famous in this game I would do it in GvG instead of having some item that there is like 1 or 2 of in existence.
