PC on perfect gold smitting rod and perfect gold cane please

1) i would've pc'ed this at ~20k-ish but new input from reliable sources have indicated that these sell in the 50k region.

Thank you extra bacon. I found the cane extremely useful for running (switching weapon gives instant +15 energy boost while still maintaining the shield).

Is the smiting rod useful for 55 monks because it recharge their Protection Prayers faster? (key piece to their survival).

it's been a while since i deleted my 55 monk (as i now use a 55 mesmer) so am trying to recall what prot spells the build uses. if i remember correctly, it's only prot spirit that needs to be recast, and that spell recharges in 5 seconds anyway, so i can't see the recharge bonus on that rod being of any advantage to the build at all.
