Max. Axe Damage

Currently I hold in my hand a GOLD axe with base damage of 6-28. The question I have is this...

Is there a greater axe (relating to max. damage) than this?

yes, the max is 33 damage. I dont think your axe would be worth too much, the minum damage is very low.

Thats all I needed to know. Thanks for the info. If I were to tell you the stats on my axe and the damage I've seen it do (even if its base is kinda low) you might think otherwise as to what it would sell for.

Again, thanks a million. I don't plan on selling this axe until I see one that has a greater base damage and better stats than what I am currently carrying!

Are you sure that the max is 33? I think that 6-28 is the max...

it is and axe is supposed ti have low dmg

Also... at max (33) is that with the additional percentages from stats added in or is there one with just base damage that shows *-33 damage?

Bahala, that is a max damage axe, except for one thing. Some axes have up to +15% damage for certain conditions (health above 50%, for example) some of these stats stay on the weapon no matter what upgrades you put on.

max dmg for axe is 28... dont let them fool u... there is a guide up on how and what is max for each type

Lol sorry I meant yes 28 is max dmg and no 6 is highest its supposed to have a higher max dmg than sword but lower minimum so you can do higher dmg but your average will be lower then sword i believe.

You bet your ass you do! You posted and helped get my questions in order. To that I THANK YOU and appreciate EVERYONES help to this simple thread. You guys have certainly made a few things easier for someone who thought he knew a lot of the 'ins' and 'outs' of the game already. Guess it just goes to show that there is no possible way to learn and understand every minute detail in this game (unless you're an Alpha or dev) and you walk away with more knowledge each time you read here!
