is there any difference between (while attacking) and (while casting)?

What I take of it is while attacking is regular staff attacks by pressing spacebar, and while casting is using spells. IMO, this differentiation could mean a big difference in the price of this focus.

yea.. attack = regular attacks, casting = spells and stuff.. armor +5^50, ench, and casting are all more desired.
