I made this build just for extreme damage purpose than for real use, but it's quite interesting:

Fire:16(+1 hat, +3 rune)
Storage:14(+2 rune)
Inspiration:3

Fire Attunement
Echo
Meteor Shower
Arcane Echo
Glyph Of Sacrifice
Glyph Of Elemental Power
Glyph Of Lesser Energy
Mark Of Rodgort

Weapon: Rago's Flame Staff

So:

1 - Cast Fire Attunement
2 - Cast Glyph of Lesser Energy
3 - Cast Mark Of Rodgort on the enemy you want to damage the most
4 - Cast Echo - Meteor Shower - Arcane Echo - Echoed Shower - Glyph Of Sacrifice - Arcane Echoed Shower
5 - Cast Glyph of Elemental Power
6 - Cast your now recharged first Meteor Shower
7 - Have fun and ask badly a necro to put a Blood Ritual on you

Did you mean Glyph of Renewal instead of Echo? (Strictly the superior choice, if you're only going to be echoing spells.)

yeah, can be possible (probably better) either with renewal

Hmm....totally over the top

Your build is serious/total drainage, and it's usefullness is somewhat limited.

But as a concept, triple nuker FTW )

Actually I prefer echoing Meteor-high output, knockdown, low cost (also exhaustion isn't so much a problem coz it's low cost)

this seems like a energy consuming version of my build it is a lil too much and no variety for once yer spells are gone...

throwing more than 1 shover on same target is a waste of casting time and energy... You not going to get more knockdowns (unless you extremely lucky), and dps isnt great.
Even if it works - you just drained all your energy...

This is build that i use and it proved to be very effective and sustainable in FoW (left-to-right):
fireball
glyph of lesser energy
rodgots invocation
glyph of renewal
meteor shover
flameburst
rez sig
fire attunement

Use as fllows:
Cast glyph of renewal, shover, glyph of lesser energy, rodgot's, fireball.
By the time you threw fireball glyph of renewal recharged and you can repeat sequence (w/o glyph of lesser energy since it takes 30 seconds to recharge). Cast in this order (with fire at 16) kills any group (except abyssals) with monks or without unless they somehow got pulled out of shover.
Use flameburst on skeletal bonds and fire drakes.
Also you can use it to scare off melee mobs that decided to hack and slash you - cast fireball and flameburst right away... it will register as dot aoe and they will run.

They good thing about this build is that it is powerful, repeatable and sustainable. The only place im getting energy problems is the exit off the spider cave and sometimes in the burning forest.

How long do you have to wait before casting other stuff after Shower to discourage scattering? Finish casting 3 seconds or so after the last meteor hits? Or can you attack substantially faster than that?

shover does NOT cause scattering.

Funny thing is, come to think of it, giants don't scatter no matter they're immune to knockdown.

I don't wait to finish....i use incidenary bonds+ fireball+ whatnot....in most cases there's a bunch of crowded numbers flying to heavens...what a sweet sight...

PS.I usually do wait for them to settle attacking someone before showering...dont wanna waste it. That caused me some problems with some PUGS, as I couldn't explain to yer typical wammo just to hold on for a few more secs (instead - what? blasting away on the first foe I see? ) and endure some more punishment like a hero he supposedly is.

i think it is defined as aoe damage coming from the same source faster than once every two seconds.
