The Order of The Green Flame

Ok, I am new here. So this is my first thread and post on this forum. I've seen these kind of threads for other games, and I thought I mine as well start one.

Ok, my best moment was probably with my mesmer. He was level 8 I think at the time. We were doing the ruins of surmia mission. We were almost to the end. Then everyone but me, rurik, and erol dies. So I'm thinking...crap. Since res sig only recharges when a morale boost comes, I'm also thinkin, I need to find a boss. I keep fighting, using mesmer skills. I was a Me/R with the only ranger skill a pet. So rurik tanks everyone and Erol spell casts, we do good, and I notice a boss up ahead. It was a necro boss. So I quickly think..Yes! But then I notice the mobs around him. So I run up, backfire him, energy burn, and then use other damage skills. After he casts once hes at about half health. He casts again trying to put life siphon on me. hes down to like 35 health, so I shatter delusions him. He dies, then I turn around and hightail it. I go res one of the members who has res, who resses another guy who has res sig, who resses the last guy. We finish the mission, and everyone comments on how awesome that moment was.

Glorious moments there were many, too many to count. But I remember beating Thirsty River in way under 10 minutes, everyone in our pug team were so cooperative, no one died, it was like we knew each other before hand and we knew everyone's play style... amazing.

My best guild wars moments are still from the World preview events where everything was still new and exciting. My friends and I would all jump on ventrilo and run around exploring the giant maps for hours. The first time we managed to find our way into the shiverpeaks from Lions Arch was awesome! We were all like "OMG! snow!", haha.

Also in the first beta weekend we had alot of fun making money off the charm exploit where you would run back and forth across Lion's Arch crafting charms for cheap and selling them for much more. 1000 gold made you feel so rich back then, lol. Sadly it was all down hill from there (all my friends left to play WoW)

I wasn't there for this one, but many of friends have always claimed the greatest moments was when Gwen went into Burnination mode...

My best moment would probably be using my monk to imitate my n/mo in THK or messing around with my friend's lvl14 necro in THK.

I like that mission.

On Thirsty River I was playing as my nuker 'Agent Nuke' that I'd set up a TriNuke build for (Renewal+Echo) and he was fully developed (level 20 etc). I was helping my friend W/Mo16 through it and we had 4 henchman. We aced it all the way until the very last group which had a monk boss, I think you all know the one. Alesia essentially commited suicide and took the other 3 henchman with her. We manged to kill most of the hoarde and the time showed 30 seconds to priest ressurects the team. I rushed over to the fortress wall and managed to nuke the priest just in time.

Just me, this W/Mo16 and no ressurects on either of us. We managed to block in the monk boss and I got a full Mark Of Rodgort -> 3xMeteor Shower -> Searing Heat. Killed him off, /catchbreath didn't quite sum it up.

...then there was also the time I soloed (7 henchman) Ice caves of Sorrow for the first time with S E V E R at level 4. Guess that's not THAT cool but I was chuffed.
