Hi, i currently have 5 computers in a network linked up to a windows 2000 server running Internet Connection Sharing so that all computers can access the internet through nat.
Everything works, except guild wars. The program itself will load, i can log in, etc... however, when i choose a character, and it loads the area, everything loads, and it then gets stuck at 100% loaded, and sits there on the loading screen forever, never actually showing me the area.
Also, when i need an update, the launcher will not get it, it will say conencting to arenanet, then downloading 0KB and sit there at 0KB.
Everything works normally when the computer is directly connected to the internet with a modem, however it does not seem to like connecting through the network.
Are there any settings anywhere i will need to configure?
Cheers in advance...

Some of your incomming data is being blocked I guess..check your firewall and port..
turn off all kinds of firewalls and see what happens, if it works, then you need to give GW access via firewalls.
(Shutdown firewalls on your own risk m8, dont blame me latter your network got wormed or something ;0)

Unless Windows 2000 Server comes with a firewall, there is no firewall installed on the server.
the firewall on the lan on this machine, it makes no difference if i turn it off or not :\
Which ports does Guildwars use?

Port 6112 I believe, but I could be wrong on that.

I have tried opening port 6112 through my firewall, and also disabling it completely, same problem :\
