Yes, you can find clean crystallines from a few places (chests ftw).

I am bumping this thread because I would really like an answer to the original question as well. So far people are answering with both "yes" and "no." If anyone has a screenie of a white or blue crystalline, please post it so we can clear this up once and for all :-)

White and blue crystallines don't exist. It might be possible to get a purple crystalline with only prefix/suffix mods, but I don't think there's such a thing as a completely blank one, since the update that made all purples/golds contain at least 1 mod.
