Salvaged Fissure Armor?!

Well firstoff id like to say, I have played GW since it pretty much came out and i know alot about it both pve and pvp wise. Over the 9 months that I played GW, it was always a goal of mine to get FoW armor for my warrior.
Anyways, I finally decided that I was going to quit GW, so I decided that I would try to give my account away to some of my friends.
After I realised that none of my freinds in game wanted to take over my account, I figured why not answer a question that alot of people ask (jokingly most often I think) "What would happen if you salvaged fissure?" well I can say that I did so, and here are the results...

Ok... just to clear this up, I'm leaving GW, and when all of my freinds decided that they were not going to use my account, I figured I had two options..

1) Let my Charactor collect dust with FoW on it
2) Salvage it and find out an answer to that question

I mean sure it was painfull to salvage, seeing as I acually did work for it while i played the game, but to me it was as good as gone anyways. I was at least able to give the ecto that salvaged to my freinds instead of it doing nothing so yeah thats about it

I didnt quit GW beacause of people in it or anything, or the game itself. Just busy in RL, and personally i think i got my $ worth $50 for 1600 of gameplay, just way too much time spent in a game for me

Why didn’t you just ebay your account? Selling you account would have been a real easy way of making a quick $, especially sense you have FoW.

The REAL question is... where do the ecto go in the armor? We can see the shards, where are the ecto? Do they use them to make the interior padding?

I made the mistake of accidentally salvaging my monks brand new fow asthetics chest piece trying to salvage the sup divine favor rune off of the old 15k top. Ouch. Needless to say I was furious. I decided that the set was cursed and salvaged all of it (I know..."WTF was he thinking"?!?). I proceeded to salvage what was left and made out with 29 ecto and other miscellaneous crafting materials. I was actually relieved after doing this. 1a few weeks later, I returned to the Eternal Forgemaster for a new set. The new set is still working great

Maybe it has cloth inside, with the ecto to pad that? That way it would mould to your body size, and fit better? :S

Everytime I try to get to the Forgemaster it never works, so I walk around with like 300 ectos and shards in my inventory and no place to put them...
