i was talking with a friend and wondering if this would work.
2 w/watevers
hammer war
use big damage & condition causing skills. lightning damage weapons
1 e/watever- lightning wep
air build--
thunderclap+ E conserving skills. any damage skills you can use with low E cost
1 ranger- fire wep
trapper, prep dude-- conditions.
2 monks-- normal monks- fire weps
condtion/ hex remover & healer
try to bring scourge healing if possible so target can't be healed
1 e/watever
fire-- keeps target burning-- mark of rodgort, immolation, etc..
1 necro-- bring BIP and other E helping skills to help ele keep thunderclap up
also, covers thunderclap with other hexes, so it isn't removed.
I will try to refine this build to include precise skills. but the general gist of it is knock down & condition all your enemies as much as possible. thunderclap will be nice with wars b/c of war wepons, all enemies in that area will stay knocked down & everyone else tries to keep them conditioned.
is the general idea good. any questions.. comments?

Thunderclap is just quite simply a bad skill. Trying to make it viable is going to be a lot more trouble than it's worth.

Target foe is hexed with Thunderclap. For 6 seconds the next time that foe is struck for lightning damage, that foe and all nearby foes are knocked down, you loose 11..7 energy and thunderclap ends.

i read the read it wrong sry, thought it knocked all foes in area down for 3 secs...
