What did you do when you beat all of the missions on Guild Wars?
Hi I am Butthead And Beavis and I have just beat Hells Precipice and am working on all of the bonus missions and quests. What did you do when you beat Hells Precipice? I am a level 20 w/mo and I have done many things but am growing bored quickly. I am going to preorder Guild Wars Factions when I get some money and the release date comes. Im new to GuildWarsGuru and would be glad to meet some new people + friends.

Well After I first beat the game with my monk I went ahead and I did some farming and got my monk his FoW armor. Then around the time the Prot bond nerf came along I was just about sick of farming UW anyway. So beat the game with all other character classes(yes I have only 1 account, so some chars have since been deleted). Then I Leaned how to do every run with my warrior. Then once that got boring, I started doing pvp, ranked up to rank6. Unlocked all the things that needed to be unlocked(mostly runes). Since then ive just been practicing trying to solo/run really hard areas. I would always reccomend attempting to solo the spiders or the forest in FoW, read up on the spider farming build posted somewhere here in the forums. Also FoW chest runs are alot of fun. So I would suggest either trying other classes or do some pvp and try to unlock everything before chapter 2 comes out.

Farm, pvp, trade.

if you dont find something that you want to do for fun you can do what i do.
put it back on the shelf for a week and read a book, play something else, whatever is fun for you.
then when the next big event happens do some more,
put back on shelf until the next chapter comes out (i will preorder)
if you have to force yourself to play you will finally hate the game.
take a break and come back fresh for more fun.
when OBLIVION comes out i will vanish for a bit but shall return.

Or you could simply pvp and proof your worth with the chance
of being one of the guild at the GW championship.

What did I do after I beat Hell's Precipice?
Finished up all the bonuses I had passed by. Started the Titan quest line (still have to do Titan Source though ). Started to do some farming, mainly Ettin farming, mixed with some runs at Tombs so the anti-farming code doesn't kick in. Tried to get an IDS a couple of times, but still haven't been successful (would have been useful to for Ettin farming, Cold hurts them more). Getting the rest of my skills. My warrior now has every single Warrior skill, and almost every Mesmer skill except some Elites. I'll probably work on getting Monk skill after I finish up my Mesmer skills. Got into a guild and did some PvP, but it broke apart . So yeah, I've had just as much stuff, if not more stuff, to do now that I personally feel I can do them now in game.

Congrats on completing the story-line missions!
Try running another profession through - same scenery, same grind, but playing styles for each profession is different.
Lots of people take up PvP, always a challenge there, especially with the different ways you can play it - random or team arenas, or Hero's Ascent(where you can gain fame & rank)
I've been having a ton of fun running Tombs groups, playing either a stance tank (wall) in balanced groups or my Monk in Barrage/Pet groups (No Warriors in those groups, tho.)
You could also work on Capping all the elite skills for your character - Some really nice skills out there.
Like Loviatar said, if it starts getting dull, take a break from it and come back in a week or so.

skill capping... trying to get all elites onto one char, then, when I'm rich, getting the rest of the skills. Not too sure what use it'll be, but it's fun anyway.
I should do the titan quests and finish sorrows.. but.. nah, can't be bothered.
Oh.. and exploring UW and FoW, that's fun too.

If you think this game is just about doing Hell's Precipice you are surely wrong.
There is:
-the bonus missions
-the titan quests
-sorrow's furnace
-fissure of woe
-underworld
-tomb of primeval kings
-getting all the skills
-pvping
-gvging
-winning in tombs, getting rank
-farming (something I do not do and do not suggest doing, it is very boring)
-helping newer players (something beneficial to you and other players, it reinforces your knowledge of the game)
-making new builds
-getting collector's weapons and trying new attribute lines

Well moving on to PvP is what the designers intended, or I guess you can farm if you think spending hours increasing numbers is fun.
yangster
I just PvPed and unlocking all of the skills, by making a new monk and faction points.

I beat the game twice and was just about to enter the dessert before morons drove me to use only hencies so I got bored of PvE, then I moved on to just flat out PvP for a few months, however lag spikes and morons who can't take a loss ruined that for me. As of now I am rarely on, I go on to help guildies and friends but hardly ever to play seriously any more. As for chapter 2, I'm still not sure if I will get it because my future is unclear so I have no clue if I will have the time to play it.

I just finished the game a couple days ago for the first time. It took me 8 months to beat it
Now I try to finish the 20k XP quests and farm in SF

I went back and started over again with other characters and now have all six classes just about done. It is a different experience each time. The way you are treated as a monk early in the game as opposed to a ranger or mesmer is quite an eye opener. I also farm, FoW, Sorrows Furnace, dabble in running, and somehow inherited a guild in the process which keeps me quite busy with recruiting and member assistance.
I would say go back and do it over as a monk. It will make you a better warrior.

I have now finished the game with all six classes.
As Griff Mon said, I would strongly suggest going back and making a monk, makes you a MUCH better warrior; I know it did me. Along the way I've deleted some chars, started over just for the heck of it (now working on my second wammo and ele (different element). FOW and UW are always fun, same with SF. Then there is the always popular farming (go ettins), pvp, etc. And, if you are lucky enough to be in a great guild (like me!), then there is ALWAYS something to do.
