Pets: Bad enough AI...but ressing is a pain

We all know pets have horrid AI (especially when on a spellcaster).

When they die, 4 second disabling of all skills occurs. For any class that relies on skills heavily (i.e. anything but warriors) this is devastating.

I was wondering why there is a EIGHT second disabling of skills from comfort animal. At most it should be 4 or 5 seconds...considering it is 10 energy just to res and there is a 4 second disabling of skills anyway.

Then, its body doesn't show on the radar, being even more of a pain.

I believe you mean everything but rangers....Warriors lose their addrenaline, which would have done more damage than the pet anyways. Rangers can spam after the 4 seconds, then again after the 8 seconds.

I don't think warriors "lose adrenaline" until after 20 seconds and rangers can only shoot their bow at the enemy while they are disabled.

Warriors lose adrenaline when their skills are disabled, blackout does the same thing.

So warriors get an extra 15 seconds of shut down...both times...while they rebuild their adrenaline. Rangers can deal damage without skills and can use their skills right away. All other classes can kite for the 4 + 8 seconds.

Don't bring a pet if you're not going to take care of it. Just like you don't bring a melee weapon for a caster unless you're using IW or something.
