Flourish...why isn't it being talked about

I love my 100 blades. Many people love their gladiators defense. This morning I was looking at elite skills and noticed this.

All of your attack skills become recharged. You gain 1-6 Energy for each skill recharged by Flourish. It cost 5 energy but really you will gain energy from it. It take 1 second to cast and 10 seconds to recharge. Well if you have a bunch of attack skills it could take the greater portion of 10 seconds using them all. Finish with something like final thrust that whipes your adrenaline and then use this baby. Boom your energy is recharged and you can go back at it. It almost seems like a constant way to do your major attack skills.

Does anyone else think that if nothing else this should be put up beside those two as an elite elite warrior skill.

It doesn't recharge the Adrenalin-Skills...Only good way to use it is with Hammer-Skills since they got a few nice skills using energy with a longer recharging time...Just switch to a sword, use Flourish and back to your hammer...

Oh so that's why it isn't the hottest topic. I was about to say you could stack 4 adrenaline skills w/ final thrust. You would use that to gain a net 15 energy (20 minus 5) and just constantly pound away with those skills plus energy skils.

Hmmm here is a question. Would it be useful for elementalists who might have to wait awhile between using the same spell?

What sort of attack skills would an elementalist be using? I guess if it were some sort of ele melee fighter that ran in, used attack skills, then flourished for mana to cast spells, maybe; it'd be great flavour-wise, but I'm a bit doubting its potential effectiveness.

I was curious if casting spells counted as attack skills. Technically hitting someone with a 99 pt fireback is attacking them.

The reason Flourish isn't that great is quite simple: How many attack skills do you know of that have more than a 2-5 second recharge? Very few. You'd only be able to get a couple of attacks off before they recharge again and Flourish won't affect them.

Spells don't count as attack skills. Attack skills are marked as such as a skill type. Spells are separate.

Be useful if it recharged our adrenaline enough to use 2-3 skills that are adrenaline based in a row...

Only thing I can think of is perhaps running Flourish with Shield of Protection...but they are both elite so garbage that idea.

Also, it's Strength-based, meaning it's gimped for secondary warriors. (other than for the timer reset, but then I'd rather use Serpent's Quickness or something)

I was fooling around with it this morning vs some white mantle. Overall, with conjure lightning, savage slash, power attack and pure strike, it was quite nice. Every attack I made was an attack skill so it was a lot of damage and I was able to continue using them in quick repitition. I would start out with glyph to make conjure only cost 5, regain the energy to max 32, rush in and hit every attack in order to ensure that in 3 swings, all my boxes were not recharged, then hit flourish and regain 18 energy, then do it over again. When my Final Thrust kicked in, I would hit that. I would assume Hamstring would fit in nice since the energy held up well and it would be an added bonus in PvP since that pesky caster sometimes sprints away or gets cripple removed. A nice way to recharge hamstring quickly

War/E - 32 energy
15 sword
12 strength
10 lightning
