Gold weapons

need abit of help about putting mods onto a gold bow

so if i get a gold bow with say -14-15% >50 hp
and it has 2 crappy mods on it say health +20 and a 3/1 vamp string
can i
put a 5/1 vamp string and a +30hp mods on?

i reason i want to know is if i put a +30hp mod and then try the 5/1 string will it override the +30 one.

the 5/1 will overright the 3/1 and the +30 will overright the +20

Strings only overwrite strings (prefix) and grips only overwrite grips (suffix).
