Old Armor available in Factions?

The idea came to me when posting in another thread.. Since Factions is a stand alone will you still be able to get the armor available in Guild Wars Prophecies. Considering theres about 6-7 new armors for each class, I figured those were ment to replace the old ones. So my question is, do you guys think the old armor will be available? Or is it crossing the content border for Factions.

I think each continent will have its own armors. Meaing those with just prophecies will be restriced to Prophecies armor, and those with just factions will be restriced to factions armors. Those with both will have access to armor from both continents.

As far as stats go I think they will both be identical. It would be nice though to see some different stat variation in factions armors.

If you only have Factions, you will only be able to buy the new armour. If you have both Factions and Prophecies, you will be able to buy the old armour by taking a ship to Lion's Arch and then go from there.
