I know that's what you were asking, but no one can be sure if that's going to happen (besides Anet and NCSoft employees). Gaile is pretty much the only person who will release this information, but I don't think she has said anything recently besides what you have posted already. So all I can do is speculate as to when it will be available.

All you can really do is keep checking the "Game and Dev tracker" forum for any updates, or see if she's online and ask her.

Well, I Highly doubt they would sell it for cheaper there, even the PlayNC faq states that they sell it at its full price since there isnt the inconvenienve of shipping.

It is only CDON.com that has the release 3/5/2006

I had ordered mine from webhallen and sent them a mail a couple of hours ago and its the same there... They just havent updated the date.

I just got my reply on PlayerOne, they won´t be getting their shipment on time either. They were hoping to be able to send the orders out to the clients on Friday though, but they couldn´t guarantee it

I dont think there send you any pre-order keys, my advise go to a GAME store and buy one for £2.00.

Ordered my Factions from Play.com £17.99 and CE from Tesco at £29.97.

ok, I preordered my copy of Factions CE a while back, and today I got the delay email... which sucked.

anyway, I was wondering how NCSoft(or areanet, or whoever needs to know) will know I preordered. Will gamestop send them my email? Will gamestop email me a key to enter?

I preordered at the EB game store last week and they told me I could pick up the game on the 27th. When I called today to confirm they told me the 28th.
I thought I could pick it up and play on the 27th. Turns out they were out of they preorder CD and never told me. None of the Local stores have it. At one of the EB's I called he told me the he couldnt get one for himself and he got his at Target. He told me to try Wallmart or Target. Went to two and couldnt find.

Does anyone know if any Brick and Mortar stores still have this?

I recommend checking Home Depot. If my pre-order key doesn't come in the mail today LIKE IT SHOULD, A guildie of mine has a hook up with ebgames and says he could give me one. I think the tengu masks exploded all pre-order boxes.

Couple possible answers...

To start, CE is Delayed...talked to customer service this morning. No known release date, 4 May at the EARLIEST.

ONE: if they sent you the pre-order box for the CE, then it contains the event key...put it on your account and you get access during the head start, to include opening 2 additional chara slots for linked accounts. After the head start ends, you will NOT be able to access new Factions charas until you put on a Factions retail box key though...which means you wait till the CE ships.

TWO: if they did not send you a pre-order box, advice is to find a friend with a pre-order key who is not using it...

Sry, know the news sucks...personally, I am not a happy camper atm. Hope it gets better as the day goes on. The folks at Gamestop are trying to find a work around for it...ANet did a big boo boo with this one and the retail folks are getting the brunt of the angst...REMEMBER TO BE NICE TO THE FOLKS AT EBGAMES AND GAMESTOP, etc...THE DELAY IS NOT THEIR FAULT AND THEY ARE WORKING THIER BUTTS OFF TO GET THE REGULAR EDITIONS OUT QUICKLY.

no more than likely this is the pre-order package.

I just got off the phone with gamestop hq and they were informed late last night that ncsoft will not be providing any temp keys for those that ordered the CE edition.

their stores are on a 24 hhour delay so it is doubtful any of them have this latest info but if they call they will be informed of the same thing.

THAT is the pre-order box because I check out my order tracking on EBGames and it showed the pre-oder as shipped while the ACTUAL game still pending. Mine was shipped the same day... hell, same e-mail. It better come in today.

Well i pre order factions around a month ago from gameplay safe in the knowledge i would get it for the early start on 27th.
Turns out my girlfriends card who i order it on has been used fraudulantly so got canceld yesterday, and gameplay went to take the money today but card was canceled so no joy!
Whats the deal with the pre order keys if i order know do they email it to you or does it come in the box?
Is there any shops in the u.k that will have it on shelfs tomorow??

This is the reason why I canceled my preorder CE from Gamestop. Totally ridiculous. I spent over $80 for CE and this crap happens. I'm not a happy camper either so I just ordered the SE instead and it will arrive by Friday, which is the launch day. I'll still have the 24 hour head start as I also have the preorder key.

i ordered a copy of factions from play.com and it hasnt said it has posted which i would expect if it is meant to arrive on friday. also i havent yet received the pre order key. i looked on the GW website and it said that it has been globally shipped today. does this mean that it has been shipped to the suppliers and shops etc or posted by the individual companies to you?

If ir doesnt arrive before Saturday i will have to wait til tuesday which sucks

Guys, I'm looking for some place where they can INSTANTLY or pretty soon email me the FACTION's CD KEY so I can start playing, I dont want pre-order, just the game, so like it'll download the data, stream it and I can play....

Any online retailer which gives me the cd key real fast and ships the order like usual....
