What Factions should I buy?

Hey all,

So looking forward to the new Factions game, but I am a bit confused about what to buy.

There is the Factins collectors edition I could get
There is the Factions online pre-order code I could get
There is the Factions pre-order I could order and have delivered

these three options seem to offer different incentives to have them. Does anyone know what would be best to have?

Depends. The collectors will have something or other, and is probably the one I'm going to get, if it ever shows up for pre-order on Amazon US. Personally I prefer to get the CDs instead of the code, because downloading all that data, even on cable, is a pain.

Its justa bit wierd, I want to be able to have the collector's edition, with pre-order items and be able to do the pre release stuff.

Dont understand why we cannot have it all.

i hate getting keys, CDs are WAY better (that data does take forever to download) i am pre-ordering at a store and will most likely get the collectors edition

yeah thast great, but from what i can gather, if you get the pre-order from shops, whether its collectors or not you wont be able to take part in the pre release event in march. From what I have read that is only if you get the downlaodable pre-order version of factions.

Am I wrong here but is the only way to take part in this pre release event to order the downlaodable pre order version?

Your pre-order should come with a package. My package won't get here until next week. Look at gw main site and it tells u what is in the pre package.

you can get march event code on guildwars.com. It is avalable to ANYONE, even those who have not bought the game. Just pre order and get the code from the website and you can play the event.
