Xennon site is great for elite skill, but it's not required to have an axe and disrupting chop to get Defy Pain, as they say. It's not even true he'll use the skill when he's got like 75% life. The Pinesoul uses it randomly, but more often if he's reduced to 50%/35% Hp. Either you spam the SoC or you keep an eye on his health bar. Everytime his HP suddenly raise but no Skill is shown, that's Defy Pain.

You don't have to use it anymore because anet made it to where he uses it more frequently now.

You really don't have to use it anymore, because The Guild Wars Update on June 8th made it possible to get the Skills after the Boss is dead. Haven't used it yet, but it's supposed to let you choose which one you want from the different skills that were used.

I was looking for him today in the frozen forest, couldn't find him. The only warrior boss I did get, was the one with cleave.
Is the Pinesoul still in that area? or does it have a new spawn?

Most of the bosses have multiple spots they can spawn at, and may not even spawn on a given run. Took me 14+ tries to get Migraine, and 8+ for Shield of Deflection on Ring of Fire =\

i heard this was pretty good for running if u use Endure Pain after it or something like that, it would probly be could when ur in a tight spot.
