i need help finding a socket 478 mother board that can hold a PCI-e video card and run a P4 Ht 3.4ghz cpu and a ATA133 hard drive and a atelast 2x pc3200 ram.

The P4GD1 is one of the FEW PCI-E boards with socket 478 support, there's also the P4GDX-L (I believe) that has the same features but is a little more easy to find...

PCI = Slow
AGP = Faster than PCI
PCI-E = Faster than AGP
Its just the way data is transfered between components. Less time = greater performance.
PS. 512MB video card is a waste of money right now. There are only a few games that even challenge the cards with 256MB. And just so you know, when shopping for a graphics card, more video memory does not mean a better card. (ie. 9800PRO with 256MB < X800 with 128MB) Its all about the GPU!!!
