nothing. people only pay for them because there rare. they should have a use in chapter 2 tho

Nothing. People think they'll be used in Factions, so they're buying it up (this is called speculation, study the crash of the stock market that brought on The Great Depression) in the hopes that they will have a virtual monopoly on the ruby/saph. trade when Factions is released.
