PC request on rare flamberge.
Skie_M
I would like to check the price on this sword, please.
Mr D J
I would say 40k but 13^50 is not that good...I would salvage it.
Funda
the price as it is right now is totally dependant upon the 10/10 sundering and the 19% ench mods on it. If it were a req 8 13^50 flamberge, I would've said about 5-10k. But now that it has both of these mods on it, the price is artificially inflated, to a price range more around Joker's PC.
IMO, I would either sell around 30-40k, ish, or salvage in hopes of getting the 10/10.

Well ... where shall I start?
First: this sword was found and identified "as is" .. I made no modifications to it whatsoever. Thus, I did not "artificially inflate" the value of this item.
Second: Guildwars damage algorithms always use integer math ....
1.10*22=[24]
1.11*22=[24]
1.12*22=[24]
1.13*22=[25]
1.14*22=[25]
1.15*22=[25]
Therefore, a 13^50 is the EXACT SAME as a 15^50 ... thus, this is nearly a perfect weapon. Are you still certain that this is "salvage junk"?

I would sell as is personally. Well, no I'd use it. I like flamberges.
However, 15^50s are far more sought after not necessarily because of their damage potential but because of their perfection.
You also forgot to add in critical hits and the actual damage tables of swords.
Over as the numbers get higher even 14^50 weapons show to lack in damage, though minimally, compared to 15^50s. 13^50s only show this moreso.

lol, let me clarify.
You came here asking for a Price-check on the WORTH of the item, not the damage output of the item. I certainly agree that the difference between a 15^50 and a 13^50 is minute. In fact, I agree so much, that I almost never use 15^50 weapons, because I know I can get a 14^50 for a good bit cheaper. But I digress, and so did you. The price isnt based upon what damage it does vs. a 15^50, its based upon the desirability and the dmg mod on it. Meaning: Everything has a place, and needs to be pegged accordingly. Only when this is done can you see the progression of prices for a said item. Are you to imply that a req 8 13^50 with 10/10 sundering and 19% ench be pricechecked the same amount as a req 8 15^50 10/10 and 19% ench? Prices must be scaled according to whatever stats are on the item AND aesthetics. Furthermore, I never said this was "salvage junk" nor did I imply that you added these mods to inflate the price. What I was trying to say, however, was that the presence of these two mods (in and of themselves) artificially inflate the price of the weapon as a whole. A 10/10 sundering mod costs about ~50k or so. If a mod worth that much was applied to a weapon that ordinarily would be worth 5-10k (in my opinion), wouldnt you think that the price is artificially inflated because of the presence of that mod? It would be a situation where the MOD is worth more than the SWORD itself.
Anyway, I hope you were able to understand what I'm trying to explain. I still stand behind my PC.

lol
if u want the real price, its always merchant
if u want a better price because it has a nice skin, go to a collector
if u want to get rich, go to a rich person
only problem is rich persons have the money to buy perfects
if your item is not perfect, you wont sell it to a rich person
your not deciding the market prices. ive sold a 13^50 fellblade for 20k. dont think u will get more for it. salvage for the 10/10 and sell that for 45k.
thats all byebye
ow and btw. people sell perfect req8 15^50's for 50-60k..
so dont bother with damage. if u want a price & advice: cry @ lions arch and ask for 25k or salvage, because u know that the people who will buy it will salvage it for the mods anyway
