i've looked around the net about warrior armor and right from the beginning in post-searing, they offer some top notch armor for the warrior. what do you guys think i should do concerning armor? i would like an armor set that looks pretty. should i wait till i reach yak's bend or some where else, whatcha think i should do? im almost at level 11.

get the ascalon set (the cheap one) at old ascalon, and it should last u a while, then go the next set u get the wyvern armor whenever u can(forgot which city) then when get the chain mail set at ventari's refuge, then when u reach amnoon, switch to gladiator set, just so its cheaper than other armor, then u keep that until u ascend, then u can either switch to knight set, or plate mail set

The only difference would be depending upon your secondary profession. My secondary is an elementalist so once I got to Ventari's Refuge I switched to Gladiator Armor to give me more than, at that time, my current 20 in energy. After I Ascended I kept the Gladiator Armor and have since gotten it infused. It works great for me and I will not be changing unless I go "ga ga" over the 15k armor sets which I have not yet reached. I am currently in Thunderhead Keep.

My energy went from a Warrior 20 to 27 with the Gladiator Armor. Then, after finding a Fire Artifact, I jumped my energy clear to 39! Thats a lot for a warrior and it has helped me stay on my toes more times than I can imagine.

ya, you probably will go 'ga ga'. WOW, that is some pretty nice energy. that must be handy for dealing much 'kicking of the butt'.

I am still using gladiator armor at level 18, I do not know what I would do without that extra 7 energy. Saves me many times.

I disagree with the suggestion to get the cheapo Ascalon armor at Old Ascalon. If you played your cards right or if it's not your first character, you'll probably have enough cash and iron to get the more expensive armor, which will stay with you for a long time and be a nice boost to your early survivability. Of those ones I think the ringmail is the better bet, just because the fur for ascalon armor is a pain to get (though apparently they've made it easier, so who knows). Also get one of the att-boosting helmets as soon as you can -- I went with the strength-boosting Dragon one because I had an extra Scale on hand, and because at that stage you never know when you might want to switch weapons.

I go with the ascalon cuirass for chest protection and ringmail everything else. I believe elemental attacks hit a much higher percent on chest than physical attacks.

Yes it has been made easyer to get Fur squares, 4 charr hides to a trader in ascalon city will net you one fur square.

Personaly, i grabbed 2 peices of the weaker ascalon, the full version of the ascalon chest peice and gloves, and a Brutes helm at ascalon and replaced the weaker gear with gladiators at yaks bend. with my shield and gladiators i have +9 energy. so im very happy with it
(im a level 15 w/mo)
