Black Lines on Textures

OK this is really bugging me. Whenever I move around or move the screen around the ground textures get thin black lines over them. Now their hard to see but now that I know that their there it's bugging the heck out of me. Also it's muche asier to see in areas with a lot of light or with a light ground color like the desert.

btw, I've updated drivers and its still black Line country USA

Since its only when moving, the screenshots dont capture it. I have a video though.

try shutting off your lightning effects in options. It could be mild screen tears. I used to get those when I was in WoW beta.

No matter how much I fiddle with settings, the same thing occurs. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING NOW. I've changed drivers and BIOS settings.

I have a video of it but I have no idea how to get it on here.

Sounds like you are experiencing artifacts ... Try running ATI Tool to see if it ( http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/ ) shows any artifacts showing up. Also, what kind of video card do you have?

Ok upon closer inspection the black lines are all over the screen. Not just on textures.

Also I haven't noticed this problem on any other games.

Running a Nvidia 6600Gt 128 MB.

I notice that sometimes when monsters die they appear as black textures, im on a Radeon 9800 Pro but my friend with n x500 or something is having the same sort pf problems...

I have to wonder myself...My card's been running fine, even in a badly ventilated section of my case (trying to change soon). I've heard stories of boiling+ video cards, and mine only seems to hit 65C...

I'd have to say that it sounds like bad cards...but have you tested in other games? I'm wondering what games use the same effects or even better ones.

I think thats actually once a necro has (ab)used a corpse it cannot be used any longer and so goes black as a sign of this.

This has probably smthg to do with resfresh frequency , can you adjust it via the game, and are you using a software that force the freq for all games (I had a nvidia soft like that) ?

If everything else runs fine, watch the card like a hawk. Some just come bad.
