I've recently made a 55 necromancer, and I'm testing it out on Griffons before I go to the UW. I find this a good place because the rockshot devourers have an interrupt and so do the attaxes in the UW. I searched the 55 necromancer build forums, and people are saying the best cover hex to get rid of the disrupt is Shadow of Fear, which makes all foes attack 50% slower, however theres almost no opportunity to get it off. In my opinion, wouldn't it be better to bring Aegis instead of Shadow of Fear, in which case you cast it before going into battle, then cast guardian, and then Spiteful Spirit? I haven't yet had a chance to test this in the UW because America usually dosen't get favor until later in the day.
This brings up another question of mine. Guardian and Aegis are both enchantments that give "x % chance to block attacks". If I cast them both, do they stack. Will the 50% from Aegis and the 40% from guardian work together? I have a feeling they won't for some reason, but still yet haven't had a chance to test it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Question about 55hp...

your gonna find it really hard to solo uw with a N/Mo 55. first dying nightmares will rend you then you will die in less than a second. No spellbreaker/interupts = dead man. however you could bring a feathered longbow which i discovered shoots extreemly far so it could save you from aggroing them. no shadow of fear is better than Aegis as you will discover once you fight the smites. Just remember Savage slash(aatxes interrupt) doesnt recharge for about 10 seconds and they use about every 20 so once you see 2 "savage slash" hit you cast SS only on Aataxes no shadow of fear the hexes dont get taken off these guys. Guardian isnt really needed. i see why you use it in Griffon farming but UW farming is way harder and you will only take on 2 or 3 at a time to start with. Yes Aegis and Guardian stack but aegis isnt needed.

N/Mo isn't hard with ss/sv that knows what they are doing. IMO I just wouldn't solo, it would get boring and lonely anyway. AotL is a great elite for 55 necro cause you can pretty much take on over 10 smites and thats with a crappy ss/sv that took soooo looong to kill cause his sv didn't last long. And you can't kill smites with ss cause they strip it right off unless their energy is drained from sv.
But anyway, first kill the nightmere's with deathly chill if you can, then have the ss/sv put sv on you before you go into battle. This stops interrupts coming from aatxes and squid guys (forgot their name) from interrupting, also stops "fear me". Don't use aegis/whatever cause it's not really needed, and expecially when you are getting attacked by just one, cause you get (or atleast I) get all my energy from getting attack except for one regen. You can bring a SB monk to help out with maelstorm from coldfires and you can probably take out the dryders and go further with sb if your group is good enough.
