Go to http://www.futuremark.com/download/?3dmark03.shtml and download this program.

Once it is installed, restart your computer so it is fresh, and terminate any un-needed programs. (Including un-needed processes in ctrl-alt-del)

Open the program, and click "Run 3dmark", this will take about 10 minutes. And will run a number of programs to test your video card and sound card score. Once it is done it will present you with a score.

Here is my score:

To my knowledge that is a pretty high score, lets see how you guys do!

I was fixing it as you were posting.

3dmark05 has a different scoring system I believe, so that may be a bit off.

Aye, aye.

I'm gonna hate to have to hurt you, but my 6600GT can get into that area. I'll link when I'm more awake.

I'll have to do it again soon, but IIRC, I think my '03 test was something like ~7600 on my 5900XT...

haha Wont hurt me one bit. I love the card, have had no problems with it and my computer is Dell-made. That is the straight score, no tweaking or overclocking. I got it as a free upgrade from a crappy radeon card so im happy.

Run mine tonight and see what I end up with. If there was any decent program I'd try and have these work computers tested. LoL.

please run the 2005 i guarantee you will love it especially the sea serpent coming out of the water after the rocket powered blimp

mine is a lowly 6600GT that has not been overclocked.....yet

it came with full factory approval to OC it and they even supplied a very good OC utility with it

Not a spectacular score. Spectacularly average for my machine, you could say.

At the moment I'm using the following hardware: -

Motherboard: Asus K8V-SE Deluxe K8T800
Processor: AMD Athlon64 3400+ @ 2.4GHz
Memory: 2x 512mB Corsair Value DDR333
Graphics: Chaintech Geforce 6600GT 128mB

I'm upgrading my RAM to DDR400 soon. Trying to decide between two sticks of 512mB OCZ EL in a duel channel kit or one stick of 1Gb OCZ Performance. They're similar in price and latency, but important thing for me is to upgrade from DDR333.

That is not a bad score at all.

Yeah it's okay, it should be noted that I'm also using stock coolers on both my processor and CPU. I have three 80mm case fans, but they're for ventilation and only cool the system by 10°c-15°c or so. I have also not overclocked any of my hardware.

My score with 3d mark 03. My pc is a AMD64 3000+ with 2x512 DDR400. The video card is a MSI 6600 gt 128mb and the mobo is an ASUS k8v-se deluxe.

Nothing overclocked.

That is still not a bad score, I have the same thing going.. and I even have a dell! Still using the same coolers, no extra fans and such. I havent even tweaked anything (not until my warranty expires anyway) No overclocking.
