Buying -5E Weapons and Offhand

I'm ONLY getting them for hiding energy on my casters. he said it on the opening line

This might be tough to get, but heres something: Since not meeting the req on something gives you 1/4 the energy, find something with 8 or less energy, and -5 energy. This should stack to -3 total energy, although im not sure how many of these you can find. I don't understand what you're replying to... I'm looking for -5E single handed weapons, simple as that. And I'm not looking for unique negative energy foci that are dropped - I'm looking for the Cities of Ascalon quest gives a focus that gives a net of -2E.

If you don't meet the req on an offhand, you gain 3 energy from it, period. Every offhand has a minimum energy of -2. I recommend the Cities of Ascalon quest reward, which is 6 energy (earth req) +25 hp and +5 armor (and of course -5 energy.)

Keep in mind the one you get from the quest is random, and either has those stats with -20hp or -5 energy, and the -20 seems to be more common. I found one after searching for 10 minutes or so though. Good luck
