when to stop, before the next chapter?

does anyone know when i should stop and make sure i've done everything i want to in post-sear, before the next chapter? i mean, in the same way that you dont want to do the acadamy quest in pre-sear before you've done everything you want to, because you cant go back. is there anything like that, that i have to look out for?

there are no other "leave everything behind" points in the game. If there were, they would give you a big warning just as they did in pre-sear. Meaning you can skip as much as you want, then come back and do it later.
