For a ranger, in PvP and PvE, what do you think is the best 15% modifier?

15/\50
15 Stance
15 While Enchanted
15 -5 E
15 -10 Armor While Attacking

I would think the 15 -10 Armor while attacking, but i dont really know how much more damage is done with 10 less armor, it doesnt seem like a lot though... Anyone have any clue how much more damage is done?

15 >50%, I guess. If you're under 50% you're in trouble anyway.

From 60 armor a +-20 is a 1/2 reduction or buff. So -10 is a increase of 1/4 dmg taken.

>50 or -5 energy is my choice. I'd take the -5 energy over anything.

I'd go with ^50 personally. Though ideally, a -10 armor would be best (with minimal attention paid to the ranger).

well with expertise does that last 5 energy really mean that much to the ranger?

I've always preferred "in stance" bows myself, as I control when I deal extra damage, but then I may just be a control freak.

Yeah, even with expertise, rangers still need a lot of energy. I dont think any one is the best. It all depends on the situation, if you use a lot of stances, use that one, if you enchant yourself a lot, go with the while enchanted one. If you dont use one of those, use the ^50 one.

Incorrect. +/- 40 is half/double damage.
+/- 20 is ~30% reduced/+41% increased
+/- 10 is ~16% reduced/+19% increased

Exact amount is 2^-(AL change/40)

15% (-10 AL) or 15^50.

As a R/*, you shouldn't be getting that close to enemies anyway (in PvE).
