Francis Crawford is name of the character better known as Lymond, from Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles. They are my wife's favorite books -- the ones that inspired her to be a novelist. We went to a gathering in Scotland to meet the late Lady Dunnett. Not coincidentally, while most of her character names are based on ones from her own books, one is named Philippa Somerville. (Not to every young girl is it given to enter the harem of the Sultan of Turkey and return to her homeland a virgin.)
I also have a character named Wesley Wyndamprice, after the Buffy/Angel character. Naturally, as one who attempts to control the undead, he is a necro.

Sadeath Blode ( N/_ ) - well just made something and sadeath =__death in a way so it will get you to think on death probably.

Sacrophage Nexus [My Necro] -- Sacrophage was similar-sounding to Sarcophagus, so it fit well with the death theme. And I like the word Nexus
The Blood Rose Hero [My Monk] -- I wanted to create a sort of epic character that perhaps had a background shrouded in secrecy. I kinda liked how it left a bit of ambiguity, too.
Requisite Hero [My Warrior] -- I don't like my warrior all that much, and I just wanted the black 15k platemail and some nice axes/swords :P
Southern Tradewinds [My Ranger] -- I wanted to have a character name that alluded to the upcoming chapter. Since Cantha is south of Tyria and is a trade center, well there you go.

Skylar Witherleg - Basically a descriptive on what he was originally designed to do. He was a R/E with a lot of snares. I still do a lot of Forum based RP and I've always been good with names that sound nice together.

Fist_of_God: I actually thought up the name while playing an old rpg text game called, "vangabonds quest". In the game once you had a lot of money you could rename your melee weapon and when you attacked, it would print in the text, "so and so attacks so and so with the Fist of God", and there were several other possible endings to the original text, depending on whether you hit, miss, or got a critical hit. That was 8 years ago.
Then when I started to play RS(5yrs-ago), not for the wonderful graphics(lol), but for the pure enjoyment of player-killing, I kept it there and still have my account which I never play anymore. However, I became infamous during that period and decided to keep my name when I came here. Funny that after I played runescape for 5 years that name became very popular, and now others use it. I remember someone asking me if I have ever read a certain book(was an english author) whom used the name in a book he had written, although I never read or heard of it.
People started to use Fist of this and Fist of that, but I am the original.

Ailyrr Merlena: This actually started out a mesmer, but I HATED mesmer (haha ironic yes) in pre-searing and deleted her. Ailyrr was from some fantasy-name generator. Merlena is actually from Merlin. Yeah. Okay. I'm a bit odd.
Lady Iriss: this is my mesmer (whom I LOVE). I've been Iris, and Lady Iris for YEARS online. Someone had MY name, so I had to add an additional "s".
Azhure Ethwynn: Azhure is from the Starman Series. I didn't want to completely steal the name (and she was originally a ranger, didn't like that one either so deleted it and made her a warrior). Ethwynn is kind of Saxon. Don't know where it came from though.
Ayame Rei Ki: Ayame is Iris (duh), Rei Ki- because I'm a Reiki Master. Made sense for my little monk to be named that.
Sivinn Gemwood: Okay, so I use the fantasy-name generator a bit. Sounded good for a ranger. Gemwood-I wanted to name my pet "Safyre" and wanted it to go with the name. Besides, just how many Arwen's can there be in a game (same goes for Legolas)?
Celleste Starweaver: Okay, so she started out an ele, and I deleted her too. Celleste is a character from a book I'm writing (if I ever bother to finish it), Starweaver because it was good for an ele, and since I didn't feel like making another second name, I just used it on my necro.
