Shadow Elemental Resistance

I was wondering if theres any specific damage that's more effective against shadows (specifically dying nightmares.) Does anyone know what their defense vs each element is? I would assume light damage would work best, but I'd like to be sure, as fire damage seems to do just as well.

Does anyone know 100%, or know where to find a beastiary that has resistances? Thanks for your help
