Who says you can't solo farm the desert anymore. Here's proof i can, and here's proof i soloed the new boss.

I've noticed no difference, except that griffons are still really strange about luring (one of each mob doesnt attack you till its friends are nearly or are dead)

If Anet wants to get rid of the 55 build. They should just take away the reason to farm and make drops more plentiful since the best ones drop when solo... and make things cost less.

i dont see why the 55 build should be nerfed, its simply a clever combo of skills and attribute points, all bundled together into one hard to get used to, fairly easily beatable bundle of tankness

If Anet wanted to get rid of the 55build they could of deleted the -50 focus item from the cities of ascalon quest.Like they did with the Hod sword.I just hopeing the runes come down as I want to make up another 55 monk.

I tried to solo the queen with warrior too. Maybe he has better build but I tell you it is not going to be easy. Killing scarabs around it isn't a problem but the queen itself is a bit annoying. You need to stay focused. That is all I can say.

Heh I just brought Lingering Curse and rigor Mortis with me.
When she casts Mark of Protection just start casting Lingering Curse and poof no more protection. She usually starts spamming Guardian then, thats what Rigor Mortis is for. Once thats on she has no more protection and ..*Squish* goes bug.

And yeah, I also took my Ranger solo there and killed the queen, but it took far too long for it to be worth anything. Was still fun and challenging though.

No it wasn't it was implemented to STOP The bots.. the the "off-shore" sweatshopts...

Griffon farming actually SUX imo.. there are soo many better places in the game to solo..

If it use's mark of prot... use Scourge healing, tottaly counters it... thats how you solo farm ettins as a 55...

anyhow I havnt tried, dont need the staff...

Well done chap, you have killed a boss that drops a green which is worth <10k now. But guess what, you didnt even get it..If i felt like wasting my time on soloing, i think i would eventually get it, as would anybody. You basically encounter 2 types of monsters there:1. trappers 2. normal scarabs. Bring some good dmg, some self heals, and condition removal...big woop
