Lost everything...

I went online a few minutes ago to find out that all of the cash on my character and all of the cash in my storage (+500k) is gone...
I played for more than 300 hours and now I get this...
What is the best thing to do now? I surely know it's not some kind of hack-action cause then they would have took the expensive items in my storage too and they wouldn't have bothered about the 2k I had on that specific character...
I really am convinced that this must have been some bug in the game...
Anybody can give me some advice on what to do now?

Edit: Also everything ON my character is gone, except the things I had equiped. If it was some kind of hacker, he wouldn't have bothered about the lazy items I had ON the char such as wood,...

I've heard of scammers getting smacked with losing all of their cash as punishment. Not accusing as I have no idea who you are personally, but do you think someone would have reported you? Otherwise they would have taken your items too if someone gained access to your account. Do you have your password automatically saved so that if someone used your computer that could get right into your account? I do, that's why I'm asking, but I have noone in the house that knows how to run the computer.

Edit: Ahh, with your new edit it does indeed sound like someone gained access to your account, probably via a keylogger.

after checking for junk on the system change your email and password so the account doesnt vanish next time

But why shouldn't he picked up all of the items in my inventory then? They are all perfect and are worth much of money. That's the reason I think this is a game error, especially because before patching everything was fine and now the new patch applies and all of my cash is gone...

sorry but if it were a game error affecting over a million people dont you think there would be posts all over the place on this?

There was a post recently about a bug in storage vault in the support pages but ti was closed rather fast... basically only a few got effected by it. in one case it was only like 20k. but they did mention it to ArenaNet support and they said they were sorry but noted the problem. But there was not much they could do on returning the lost gold.

If it is popping up again make sure to report it ASAP and use the Network Information Tool ftp://ftp.guildwars.com/diag/netinfotool_allos_gw.exe they provide to help them track it further... it really does seem to help them find bugs faster with certain computer setups...

You can also contact [email protected] directly if you must... Sometimes I do this for more private issues that I do not want appearing in the support page...

The strange thing is that it is not only my storage, but also the inventory of my character that is totally emptied (halloween, christmas items were in there => who would want this stuff :s)
