I have had relative success with my own solo build for the scarabs, rockshots, minotaurs, and griffons. After tooling this around for awhile, I came up with this build:

12 swordsmanship
15 tactics
rest in strength

Gladiator's defence
Heal sig
Riposte
Watch yourself
Distracting blow/ Savage Slash (savage slash much prefered)
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Purge conditions

Now. The mechanics of this build are simple. The execution, however, is hard.
The art of aggro is much appreciated in this build. I have a nolani fire wand, a longbow, and a sword (14/15>50 prefered). Since the obviously recent buff to riposte, it is now better than ever. 80 damage at 15 tactics.

First off. Go around the corner, aggro the SCARAB not the devourer. pull it back till it uses both its traps. Proceed to kill it, keeping WY on all the time, and only using GS and FT (the nesting ones dont trigger riposte). If you double aggro rockshots or the trapping scarabs, you can tell by the animations
when they are laying traps. Distracting blow interrupts adjacent foes as well, so you dont need to change targets to interrupt. If you dont interrupt it, most likely you wont trigger the trap, because you are too far away. Now for minotaurs. As you dont have the constant healing provided by enchantments, use riposte whenever it charges(this does damage and also lowers the damage you take) and heal sig whenever you get to health around 350. Having glads o n during the heal sig is beneficial with he minotaurs, and necessary with the scarabs and rockshots (they both have distacting shot) Everything else is aggro. Dont aggro more than 3 minotaurs at a time, and never more than 2 of the necro scarabs and 1 of the rangers at a time. (btw, i havent managed to kill the monk boss yet, and why will be shown in the screenies)

About the scarabs that use Vampiric touch. I have figured out that they dont use it until below 50% health, or close too it when you use an attack skill. Try to time these trigger with an interrupt, because that amakes all the difference between surviving or not. BTW, the scarabs attaking you (other than the one you are attacking) wont use vampiric touch unless you use riposte on the too much.

You don't need purge condition unless your goign to step in on of their traps or use a condition on them(Bleed, deep, gash ect...) They won't use Virulence unless there suffering form a condition.

It's just in case. Being hammered with virulence is never fun, and noone would deny that they would rathr avoid that.
