I was playing with some ele skills like lightning javelin and engraving charge etc.

Lightning javelin 16 air, 52 damage, 25% armor penetration:
calculator = 67.44
In game = 69

Engraving charge 16 air, 53 damage, 25% armor penetration:
calculator = 68.73
In game = 70

I don't have time to test other yet, or soon... Someone please go test more stuffs.

Fifteen Over Fifty [Rare]

As far as I know, it's always been off by a little bit.

Wandering my own road.

45 AL - 132% damage
60 AL - 100% damage
80 AL - 70% damage
100 AL - 50%

I have more numbers, but they're on such a small scale (5 damage going up to 6 - candy cane numbers), that they're accuracy is highly questionable. However, it does seems to indicate that either armor penetration does not work exactly as described, or Ensign's guide/calculator has simply become inaccurate. (either always slightly off, or the mechanics have changed slightly)

There're multiple possibilities, but actually checking this out in detail would be good.

Should be accurate within +/- 5%:

32 AL - 170% damage
40 AL - 140% damage
45 AL - 132% damage
48 AL - 130% damage
52 AL - 120% damage
54 AL - 110% damage
57 AL - 110% damage
60 AL - 100% damage
64 AL - 90% damage
72 AL - 80%
75 AL - 78% damage
80 AL - 70% damage
90 AL - 60%
95 AL - 60%
100 AL - 50%

Used a 100 damage Lightning Orb for some values, and varying degrees of Strength with a candy cane weapon for the rest. 32 AL was obtained by Weaken Armor + Penetrating Blow, and the rest were found with Penetrating Blow and 5-10 strength.

Every 40 AL something has from 60, the damage is halved/doubled. 100 is 50%, 140 is 25%, and 180 is 12.5%. Just though people should know.

Quite Vulgar [FUN]

We have Isle of the Nameless now. Really no need for calculator.

Btw, upping your weapon attribute doesn't help as much as you would imagine. Luckly I bought the candy weapons for testing purposes.

With the bow and 16 mark you will do 17 dmg to a 60 AL. A critical will do 24 dmg. So I guess criticals are x1.5 normal dmg.
