yeah, salvage it and hope for the vamp string, the bow's not even max dmg and the dmg modifier sucks, so to answer your question it is worth more if u salvage it. The vamp string is worth about 10-15k right now

I salvaged it as recommended and was very careful to have expert salvage kit picked and guess what.

"You salvaged 8 Wood Planks from the Vampiric Recurve bow of Shelter"
