With the March 3rd update I have decided to do a little experimenting. I do not plan to close Guild Wars for the next 12 hours (or more depending on what I need to do on my computer and what my computer can handle with the game minimized). I do not have the update yet. I want to find out if prices change, drop rates change, or any other changes occur with fewer people in the game. You can not make contact with people that got the update so I wonder who all will be left 12 hours from now.
Does anyone already know what will happen?
Not getting the Guild Wars update

After about 2 hours you will not be able to exit a district / go to UW / FoW -- walking through a portal acts like you are sitll in the town, but you are walking outside.. etc.
No way to interact with enemy monsters, unless you leave yourself in an explorable area.

The "A new build is available for guildwars. Please restart the guild wars client" (something like that) Basically is a warning for you to restart. I've forgot to reboot when the warning showed, and about 2 hours later I disconnected, and had around 8 hours character rollback.

Hehe, yep. Think of that "lag rubberbanding" you sometimes get when the servers are slow, but for your whole account

Well, I just woke up (got plenty of sleep ), and I had an error from Guild Wars saying it had to close due to hardware malfunction. Of course the game was running over 12 hours straight so maybe my computer just couldn't keep up with it.
