Capping Elder Wolf, How?

Hey guys, I want cap the elder wolf in Spearhead peak, but I cant make it anywhere out there without getting slaughtered. How do you do it?

I'm currently a R/mo but i can change if i need to. The slow is ridiculous out there! I was thinking SpellBreaker maybe but that seems like a stretch too.

I capped with with my level 6 (yeah shoot me) ranger/monk. If I remember correctly there are a few small groups until the main group with the elder wolves. I killed the first small groups then went straight for the elder wolf. What I did was hope that the other mobs would attack the henchmen and give me enough time to charm the wolf. It took me a few times but eventually got it, suprisingly easy enough.
