that +17% dmg unconditional Crystalline

there was a gold crystalline sword listed on the guru auction site last night, supposedly a nerfed beta version that had +17% unconditional dmg.

stats were:

gold
15-22
req 10
dmg+17%
10/10
+30hp

this item created such a buzz and the bids climbed very quickly. in a matter of hours, the last i saw before heading to bed, it was at ~2.3mil.

the question on everybody's mind was, of course, is it real?

we already knew that:
max dmg mod for conditions you can control is 15%
max dmg mod for conditions you can't control (while hexed, <50) is 20%
max unconditional dmg mod (as far as we knew) is 15%

so it appeared as though a "while hexed" or "<50" was blacked out next to the "dmg+17%". we pretty much came to the conclusion that it was just the handywork of another bored kid waiting for Chapter 2.

and this morning when i woke up, that item had been removed from auction and the auction itself deleted. so that pretty much convinces me it was (yet another) hoax.

anyway, just posting this here (sorry if it's in the wrong sub-forum) to see if anyone somehow managed to get in touch with the seller to verify the item's authenticity.

news to me too. imho it was a fake, its so easy to make a fake pic like that with photoshop... (like 2 mins if you want a clear and pro work, lol)
ps: nerfed alfa things are usually purple, not gold

I saw that too...obviously wasn't real, and it'd be the most expensive thing in the game :S
