In order to get to "FOW" or Fissure of Woe, you talk to Balthazar's Champion at "ToA" or Temple of the Ages.

You also need to be ascended and need to pay him 1k as a service fee.

* Just let you know, I get alot of people complaining because they can't get in on account they're not ascended or because they don't want to pay.*

It ends up only costing you 125g because you split the cost 8 ways with the 7 other people in your party.

After beating the 3 missions in the Crystal Desert, you face your Doppleganger. Beat him 1 on 1, and you "ascend".
