Soloing

I need a good place to solo but i dont like to solo trolls so i dont know were to go

My friend knows a build for soloing stuff outside of bergen with ranger. Ill try and find out what it is.


My name on GW is farmer fez

Search the forums for Ettin farming. You can do the same thing with a trapper, instead of a warrior.

I use a R/W for soloing Ettin, Undead, Griffons while they were still there,
Basically any melee mob can be solo farmed.

Basing my builds on ReZon's Evasion Tank build, tweak them slightly for every mob.

For ettin i use the following build:

10 Swordsmanship
12 Tactics
12 Expertise

Apply Poison
Gash
Sever Artery
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Healing Signet
Lightning Reflexes
Escape [E]

No blocking stances because you will be constantly knocked down by Irresistable Blow. Basically you apply poison before going in. Target troll.Wait for it to fire off it's Irresistable Blow then riposte + deadly riposte at once. It should use healing signet now so Gash it.
Finish it off and move to the next troll. Heal often. Don't heal while under Ripostes. Don't agro more than 3 at once.
Use escape first, then lightning reflexes. Cycle them with a few seconds downtime between the first lightning reflexes and the second Escape.

Soloing titans outside Lions arch is fun. The drops are sometimes good, sometimes not. And it's easy to learn.
