Er, not exactly.
The point of "Illusion of weakness" is, to get instant healing once you drop lower than 25% of health.
It's some kind of "emergency health+". And it's quite usefull.

Whoops, your logic is wrong.

Cast Illusion of Weakness, full heal yourself, and then start running. You just spent one ABC health and got 2 back.

I guess I was unaware of the Post-Sear rules changes. My bad on that one!

I'm not sure of the gameplay value of doing that. Nobody wants to group with you. It must be a weird personal goal or something.

this is true you do get xp if your party members fight monsters so that means this lvl 1 character was rushed to nolani dodging every enemy in their way to get there

Even if you've been through the game once, its ok to be babysat so to speak but to rush through that fast, what kind of appreciation for new classes do you get doing that? None, none whatsoever. You can gauge a classes strengths and weaknesses best by actually playing the character and levelling up, but then again there are those that don't care and are pure PvP, then fine, they can go make a PvP character and be level 20 right off the bat, earn the skills and runes in PvE with another character that they have to level up.

Personally, I hope the devs find a way to stop this sort of super-fast-leveling, sure its ok for secondary characters, but you cannot honestly sit here and say to everyone here that there are not first time players, that have friends who have ascended already, who just want to breeze through the game in a snap because they're used to having everything thanks to cheat codes or just used to having an upper hand at something...

Just an opinion as always, but bluntly true, because surely there IS one of those types out there...
reality check - you don't have to fully 'appreciate' your profession or be at one with it or anything in order to be good at the game, or enjoy the game, which is the most important.....and unfortunately, because how good your character is has nothing to do with how many hours you spend on a specific character, theres no reason NOT to get rushed, hell on my second character i did, i had already gone through fighting those stupid level 3 enemies enough on my first character, and the game doesnt really get fun until it starts getting harder
