Stone Summit outside of Yaks

Just a quick question. I was bringing a character through the game and I reached Yaks Bend. Doing the quests I bumped into a large mob of Summit Brutes and Ravagers. I have previously only seen these in the South Shiverpeaks.


Are these new with the patch or have they been there a while ? Not been in that area for a couple of weeks.

I can't remember seeing that many before. The only quest I have active in that area is Shiverpeak Stragglers.

i usually approach them by going around to the left and coming across the wood bridge off to the left in that picture

It's a quest...clearing the something or other, it has to do with killing them all then reaching the next mission. I farmed that place for a while...nice armor drops

Ok cheers, thanks. Anyone know which quest they relate to, already done the way is blocked and borlis pass.

Edit: nvm - used 'em to test out the new Beastmastery buffs. Now if only they could make the pets a tad less thick...
