Thought I would start a post with some of my ideas for better grouping experience. Please add yours!
-LFG tag above players head (like the current team # one)
-2 LFG tag varriants, quest and mission
-a reward for helping others with their quests* (see below)
-all members of the group see all other group members quests (a tab'd quest window)
-the group leader can select a quest and will be displayed for the whole team
-all group members should be able to see the current quest goal star/arrows on the map
-better combining of quests, some optional system where if 2 or more players in the group have the same quest they can "combine" theirs with the current quest if its the same
-basically make quests more like missions in terms of being grouping friendly
*Group Reward for Quests:
This is the biggest issue (IMO) right now - there is very little incentive to help others with their quests as they cannot be combined (doing the same quest 6 times, once for each member, is not all that fun) and on top of not really being able to tell what is going on (unless you also have the quest) there is no reward. It doesn't have to be a lot - 10% to 25% of what ever the reward for the quest is. Right now the only time people really seem to group up outside of missions (where this bascially already exists) is when travelling from town to town.
Its unfortunate but being a MMO style game and being on the "internet" people will only do things that generally net them a reward for their efforts (this isnt everyone, but most). Drops/gold are there but too crazy random and you can get them with henchmen anyways.

actually, i want to remove the nametags and select the ally/foe with his model
i aim for the big standing guy there with the sword and stuff
not the little box above or below his name
//the reason i post this is sometimes my guy or my henchmen do not react to me clicking/double clicking on the model of the enemy
sometimes they just stand there and watch as i get bombarded with meteor, firestorm, etc (mainly when projectiles/magic is involved)

I agree.
Team leader should be able to select the mission to be displayed to all team members, and then you would have an idea of what the goal is. When you complete that mission, all team members should be awarded experience. If someone else already has a similar quest, his/her quest is also completed in the process. You'll need some rules as to the amount of experience awarded.
This would greatly improve the way you would team up with other players. It adds more cohesiveness to the team aspect of this game.

Great idea with the LFG tag. I would like to see this idea should extend into the PvP arena waiting areas as well.

seeker, this is in reference to mission grouping, not to actual combat.
Anyway, sounds like good ideas, I can see it helping a few people become involved and getting groups moving faster, which is what most people need.

Just for a note... I've gotten to a point to where i no longer use human teams, i even *try* against the mighty mursaat with my henchy team... seriously, its way too annoying... not to mention the prick monks ive been see'n, telling you whats gonna happen, or they'll leave/do something else really gay. Monks are over needed, and the small self healing spells arent sufficient enough...
**My counter to using monks... second class of necro every character, using blood magic... most durable sort of things i can do for solo'n.**
shinseikaze
Monks are overated...........they seem to think they are special due to the high demands for them in the missions.......i just go with the healing and protection hench

Ok honestly I don't care anymore what they do, but they have to fix this >_< I just spent more than 20 minutes trying to find someone to do a quest with me... 1 measily quest... yagh! Please improve this it's ruining my gaming exprience

Some people in mission areas (like me) are waiting for guild members or friends to finish whatever they're doing to trade or group together.
What I would like to see is a way for the party leader to designate specific classes for a slot, like for example:
R/Me20 Party Leader
Need Warrior
Need Warrior
Need Monk
Need Any
Need Any
Need Any
Need Any
And next to the "Trade" button there is a "Party" button where you can see other people's parties.
